Original Article: H1N1 Clinics Begin for JCPS Students

Clinics will be held over the next three weeks

LOUISVILLE, Ky – Thousands of Jefferson County school kids are being vaccinated against swine flu.

Fern Creek Elementary was among the first local schools to hold an H1N1shot clinic. At least 10 other schools are also holding clinics today.

Student Justus Perry got the nasal mist vaccine and says it felt like water going up his nose when he goes swimming. Student Brandon Roberts got a shot and says it only hurt for a little while.

The shot clinics will continue over the next three weeks until all the schools in the district have been covered, which includes over 150 schools and well over 100,000 students.
