LOUISVILLE, KY.–We’re hearing from former Louisville football coach Steve Kragthorpe for the first time since he was fired. He says his only regret is not winning enough games to stay here. He says the hardest part will be leaving his players.
Kragthorpe says he’s received a lot of calls of support and already has three job offers, including that of offensive coordinator at a BCS school. Kragthorpe was 15-21 in his three seasons at U of L.
He says he’ll stay in Kentucky long enough for his son Brad to play in the state championship game Saturday night. The family plans to move back to Tulsa Sunday.
